Here are a few sketchbook pages from my new sketchbook. (Don't mind the date, it was from a past endeavor). The last image is a study in acrylic and gouache for what may become a larger painting. I'm trying to work illustrations into this painting class I'm taking. It's a mix of references to Piero Della Francesca and I worked in bits and pieces from Winslow Homer's Blackboard, which is up there on the list of favorite paintings.
